The Thomas House Built in 1939
The Thomas House is a spacious 5 bedroom and 5 bathroom home with full kitchen and dining area, main living room, and large stone back veranda with partially covered seating area. Perfect for entertaining guests, wedding parties, small business events, or social gatherings.
The Pavilion Outdoor Entertainment Venue
The Pavilion is a wonderful large covered outdoor entertainment center capable of seating up to 200 guests, restrooms, small stage, and adjacent facilities for catering and other amenities.
The Gazebo Private Wedding Venue
The Gazebo is the perfect place for your wedding! Large and spacious seating up to 150 people, private, and with a straight runway from The Thomas House for the bride-to-be to make her entrance.
The Sunken Garden Outdoor Entertainment Venue
The Sunken Garden is a amazing open entertainment venue just down from the Pavilion. It is a perfect place for all events such as weddings, live bands, movies, etc. Host your event here or in a combination of Garden/Pavilion events to really create the perfect experience.

House Rules
- CANDLES: The use of any type of flame is prohibited in all buildings and throughout the site. The new “flameless candles” which are battery operated are permitted for use. (Example: See www.candleimpressions.net – the candles light automatically at the time set and run for 100 hours on a small battery).
- CHILDREN: There have been times we have had guests at the complex whose children were not properly supervised. Children under the age of 18 are your complete responsibility. Please know where your children are at all times and make certain that they clearly understand The Rules.
- PLEASE RESPECT NATURE! We would greatly appreciate it if persons do not disturb plants, rocks, trees or other natural gifts. Please do not nail anything to trees or hang any ropes, swings or hammocks from tree limbs. Please do not walk or step in flower beds.
- COURTESY PROTOCOL: The Nesselrod reserves the right to request any person or group of people acting unruly and contrary to rental regulations to leave the premises. Assistance from law enforcement agencies may be required if this request is not met immediately.
- ELECTRICAL OUTLETS: All electrical outlets on the property are available for use at an event. The vendors are welcome to inspect the locations and numbers of outlets prior to booking.
- DECORATIONS: Only push-pins and drafting tape may be used to affix decorations and/or signs. Any other decorations, signage, electrical configurations or construction must be pre-approved by Nesselrod. Decorations may not be hung from light fixtures. All decorations must be removed without leaving damages directly following the departure of the last guest, unless special arrangements have been made between the Customer(s) and the venue.
- Note – The only adhesive material allowed on the walls is drafting tape which will not damage surfaces. No masking tape, duct tape, electrical tape, transparent tape or double stick tape is allowed. All other decoration must be freestanding. Nails and staples are not permitted at any location.
- Note – The use of birdseed is permitted only outside for wedding and reception farewells. Rice, confetti, flower petals, balloons, glitter fog machines, pyrotechnics, sparklers and blowing bubbles are not permitted inside or outside the facilities.
- GARBAGE DISPOSAL: Trash disposal, other than the garbage disposal of items generated by the caterer, is your responsibility. Immediately following the event, please have your Clean-up Committee take a few minutes to walk all the areas of the building and property that have been utilized for the event and pick-up any refuse that may have been dropped or blown around. This trash may be placed into Nesselrod dumpsters.
- GUESTS: Please keep in mind when inviting Guests to your event, that you are inviting them to our home. We will expect visitors to conduct themselves in a mature, responsible and respectful manner.
- HANDICAP ACCOMMODATIONS: We provide level-designated parking, ramped walkways throughout the property along with suitable restroom facilities. Motorized and transport chairs can easily navigate the grounds. All venues on the property are handicapped accessible.
- PARKING: Parking is available at the designated areas on the Nesselrod property (gravel and grass areas). Persons shall park at identified parking locations. Handicap accessible parking is provided. Parking is not permitted on any grass area in front of the main house.
- REFRIGERATOR / FREEZER SPACE: Nesselrod has a commercial refrigerator in our Pavilion for event use. Any refrigerator or mini-fridge in the main house can be used for storage of food items. Please note that these will also contain items owned by Nesselrod. Reasonable room will be made to assist with your meal storage and preparation. Each event is responsible to provide their own ice (there is not a commercial ice maker on site). It makes sense to bring your beverages to the venue already chilled the day of the event. Caterers are expected to make their own food/beverage accommodations.
- RENTAL SPACE CHANGES: Any contents or furniture movement must be pre-approved by Nesselrod. It is the Customer’s responsibility to restore all areas to their original appearance. Placements of tables, tents, live music, catering equipment, etc., must also be approved by the Nesselrod planning staff.
- SIGNAGE: You may post your group’s sign or hang balloons at the front entrance on Route 11, but please do NOT attach anything to or cover up our entrance sign, or nail or screw anything to the trees.
- MAIN HOUSE: The main house at Nesselrod is a Bed & Breakfast is a place of residence. If rooms or house is rented for any event or purpose, it comes with the explicit knowledge that other guests and residents will be using any all rooms at their discretion with exception to private rented bedrooms by client, client’s guests, or other guests of the Bed & Breakfast.
- PROPERTY: Clients and guests of clients understand that, while they may be granted use of the main kitchen and other areas of the property, belongings inside the Nesselrod structures and grounds are private property. Any items being used during an event must be put back once the event concludes. If items are missing after an event, client accepts responsibility for replacing them.

Check In
Thank you for choosing to book with us! For your convenience, check-in takes place at the property you have rented. You will be greeted by our InnKeeper for check-in, room location, and parking instructions.
Check-in time is 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Check Out
We want your check out to be as easy as possible and only require a few things prior to your departure:
- Guests should leave premises in neat and undamaged condition.
- All food must be removed from refrigerator and cabinets.
- Doors and windows should be closed and locked.
- Lights and television should be off.
- If any furniture was moved during stay, it should be moved back to its original position.
- Please remember to leave the room keys in your room door when departing.
- House and all Rooms should be left in good condition.
- Check out time is at 11:00 AM.

What to Bring
Thank you for reserving at Nesselrod on the New! In order for you to have the most stress free stay or event as possible.
What we provide
- All of our kitchens are fully stocked. This includes everything from cookware, dinner ware, blender, coffee pot, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, silverware, and spatulas.
- We provide all dish cleaning necessities from dish cloths to dish soap. The house has 2 dishwashers, dishwasher soap is provided.
- All of the fine china can not be placed in the dishwasher but must be hand cleaned and put back in place.
- All of our kitchens have microwaves, stoves, and ovens
- Emergency Kit: candles, matches, flash light, and phone numbers to power company
- We provide a starter supply of paper products such as toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins, and trash bags. These should last around 3-4 days depending on use. If staying longer, you may want to bring more.
- The home does have an propane grill outside. The grill must be cleaned thoroughly after each use.
- We provide all house linens. This includes at least two bath towels per guest, sheets, blankets, and wash cloths. We also keep a spare set of sheets for each bed.
- The home does have a laundry room only accessible by the Innkeeper. If your stay requires additional laundry cleaning, contact the Innkeeper for assistance.
- We provide a shampoo/body soap bar in all our bathrooms. We recommend, though, that you bring your own shampoo/soap.
- A list of local emergency numbers and directions to nearest hospitals. All other inquiries need to be made with the Innkeeper.
What we don't Provide
- Favorite spices/oils/items for cooking
- Additional towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo, tooth paste, toilet tissue) if needed.
- Additional trash bags for additional guests or longer rental period.
- Storage containers for leftovers you wish to take home.
- Bug Spray
- Shopping plazas are close by for things you might need after arriving at Nesselrod.

Pet Policies
Sorry, absolutely no pets allowed. However, a family pet actually involved in an event will be considered and granted approval from the InnKeeper.

Food
Nesselrod on the New wants you to have the most enjoyable and rewarding stays possible. In order to comply with Heath Department requirements. Any and all food must either be prepared by yourself, brought in from a local restaurant, or catered by a licensed caterer.
You can not hire a chef or cook to come on the property to prepare meals for your family/party.
Alcohol
Alcohol can be brought onto the property by yourself for consumption but can not be used to charge for drinks or other "door" charges without proper ABC Licensing.
If such activity does take place without notification or statement of intent when renting, Nesselrod on the New will immediately terminate your stay and no refunds will be provided.

Nesselrod on the New will, at all times, have an innkeeper on the grounds in the event a problem arises. The Inkeeper will have full access to the house and all rooms but will not disturb your stay at Nesselrod. Our Innkeeper is there for your convenience. Feel free to contact them at any time for anything that is needed.

If you are renting Nesselrod on the New to host an event (Wedding, Reunion, Business function, etc) where other guests will be present on the property but not as renters, we require the renter to obtain an Event Insurance Policy. This will need to be done and confirmed by Nesselrod on the New prior to entering the property for your stay and function.
