I can’t express how happy I was with my stay at the Nesselrod! The owners were friendly, knowledgeable, and great company. The breakfast was better than I could have hoped for at a restaurant and far beyond a traditional hotel’s fare. If you’re heading to Radford and the New River Valley, there’s no better place to stay!

The host is accessible and personable. The property is very safe and clean. The room is comfortable and provided a respite after a long day of travel. Very close to restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, and gas stations as well as downtown. Easy loop through the property with nice views and spacious outdoor areas.

Nesselrod on the New is a charming bed & breakfast just off the Lee Highway. The inn keeper, Jeff, greeted us warmly at the door. He carried our bags to our room referred to as the “Enchanted Garden” room. It was lovely and the bed was soft and very comfortable. Great place for a retreat or a restful night!
